Tiki Gear!

The Word: Aloha! Hip Wax --formerly the original Tiki Land and Tiki Tony (it's ok, we took a few years off and need the names no longer)-- now returns to tiki trading with more "real" tiki gear. There are venerable Orchids of Hawaii ceramic restaurant cups, fancier rarities made for specific establishments, sensational odds and ends, and even a few recent remakes that deserve inclusion. Generally, we are vintage only, however.

Trade: We are always interested in trade for items we don't have. In Orchids of Hawaii, for instance, we can use: R86A Compote, R94 Volcano Bowl with Center, R97 Buddha, R98 Hat Girl, and R14 Scorpion. And of course many other vintage tiki items of all kinds we do not have and would consider. If you have duplicates or just want to swap for something new, let us know what you have and what you'd want. Accurate photo and description, please.

Records: We sell/trade tikis in nearly the same way we sell records, just not in as flat a box. So if you are familiar with one, do try the other. Cross-trades (records for tiki or vice versa) are welcome, too. Be sure to see the Hip Wax listings of records. Even if you do not collect, many of the images are worth seeing. Exotica and Hawaiian (good tiki listening) LPs are listed here (link repeated at end of page, too).

Shipping/Handling: Domestic mailing generally will be gratis. (If just one inexpensive item going across country, we may charge $5.)

Discounts: Free mailing is the first discount. Beyond that, an order of healthy size (whether $ amount or number of items) may receive some further discount.
